  • The Lost Spring - situated in Whitianga, relax in a tropical paradise. Geothermal pools together with cocktails and spa treatments. An absolute must see. Children over 14 welcome.
  • Cathedral Cove - one of the most beautiful beaches on the Coromandel. Pure white sand and crystal clear water. Accessible by boat, kayak, or 1.5 hour walking track from Hahei.
  • Hot Water Beach - One of New Zealand’s most fascinating and popular natural wonders. Two hours either side of low tide you can dig your own spa pool as water from hot springs seeps through the sand. Good surfing for strong swimmers.
  • Hahei Explorer - A kiwi boating adventure exploring Cathedral Cove, marine reserves, caves and offshore islands along our magnificent volcanic coastline.
  • Glass Bottom Boat - situated in Whitianga, see amazing marine life through glass. Snorkel the marine reserves and caves with all equipment provided.
  • New Chums Beach - located 15 km’s northeast of Coromandel township. 30 min walk wading through an estuary and arrive at a stunning stretch of golden sand fringed by pohutukawa trees and native forest, which is deserted much of the year.
  • Hahei Beach - picture perfect, sandy beach with bright blue water perfect for swimming, snorkelling and diving. Great lagoon for kids.
  • Lonely Bay - a gem of the Coromandel. The white sand beach is unspoilt, and surrounding rocks provide privacy and tranquillity.
  • The Waterworks - located 8km from Coromandel town. Over 60 different water related attractions. Take a picnic and enjoy a fun filled day out.
  • Driving Creek Railway - located 3km from Coromandel town. The 3km train track passes through a spectacular native forest. Great for a rainy day.
